CATERING SALES MANAGER
If you are passionate about our industry and are looking to join a great group of professionals, let us know. The professional we seek for this exciting opportunity will achieve revenue goals by developing and executing a sales and marketing plan, including building sales through telephone and in-person sales calls, marketing, functioning as a public relations spokesperson to promote catering locally, and working with large parties to create memorable events. Corporate sales experience within a restaurant, hotel or caterer is preferred.

Experience Required
Two years of sales experience, preferably social and corporate sales within a restaurant, hotel or caterer in an upscale environment. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written/verbal communication, presentation and organizational skills are required. Candidate must have high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Identify and develop appropriate sales contacts and leads in the local market
  2. Conduct inquiry calls, account maintenance, outside sales calls, site visits, concierge
  3. visits, and other sales activities
  4. Develop, plan and execute local marketing events, initiatives and strategies to drive bar and dining room sales
  5. Plan and execute corporate events as outlined in the standard operating procedure
  6. Understand, develop and leverage all local relationships
  7. Accurately execute all Company initiatives, policies and procedures with improvement to quality, service and operations Guarantee service and all points of guest contact meet company standard
  8. Prepare Catering Sales Forecast reports
  9. Participate in management meetings and employee pre-shift meetings
  10. Exhibit efficiency in completing job requirements through working with a sense of urgency, consolidating tasks, delegating and empowering others while managing marketing efforts
